Janet and Stuart Woldman are the owners of Grandpa's Wood Shop specializing in calligraphy in wood and custom wood designs. Jan and Stu have been involved in the craft industry for many years and have been members of the Ohio Arts and Crafts Guild for about 20 years where Stu served as a member of the Board of Trustees. They are the proud grandparents of five grandchildren.
Stu trained as an arts and crafts instructor at the U.S.Army Hobby Shop Management School at Ft. Monmouth, N.J and has taught arts and crafts for over 50 years. He presently is a wood working and wood carving merit badge counselor and was on the staff of the wood carving merit badge booth at the 1989 National Boy Scout Jamboree at Ft. A.P.Hill, VA.
He has exhibited in several juried craft shows in OH. PA, and MD. His unique items are sold in gift shops throughout the country. His creations have won awards in craft and art shows and the Wood Magazine "Design-a-Toy" contest.
